'Unnecessary' plastic removed from items in supermarket
All too often, plastic does not end up where it belongs; on the streets or in waters such as the Maas. The 3 Rotary Clubs in Maastricht thought this should change. Yesterday, they placed an unpacking table at the Albert Heijn in Scharn, where supermarket customers were asked to rid their products of unnecessary plastic.
