Two Maastrichtse nominees in Topvrouw Limburg selection
Pamela Habibovic (photo), Rector Magnificus of Universiteit Maastricht, has been nominated for the Topvrouw Limburg Award. The election, made possible by Stichting Topvrouwen Limburg, honours women in Limburg who made a valuable and notable contribution to business, community, government or science.
Last year, MUMC+ cardiologist Chahinda Ghossein-Doha won the award.
Other nominees
The second nominee in the selection for 2023 is also linked to our city. Nele Valkeneers, co-owner of medical technology companies 2BMedical and ArchiMEDes, has a chance to win the prize. Third contender for the award, which will be presented on 2 November, is Vera Tax, who hails from Venlo.
