Police seek help in Malberg robbery
Police are requesting information about a robbery at Ponjaardruwe in Malberg that took place in the summer of 2022. On the night of Thursday 7 to Friday 8 July, an 84-year-old resident was robbed, and the thieves made off with a safe.
During the robbery, 2 people restrained the resident in the bedroom. Recently, there have been new developments in the investigation. It is suspected that a grey-coloured Volkswagen Polo with a towbar was involved in the robbery. It appears that the car drove away in the direction of Parkstad after the robbery. The police are asking if any people recognise the car.
