Immunologists return to work after conflict with MUMC+
The 4 immunologists who were temporarily not working at MUMC+, due to a conflict with the hospital, have returned to work. The doctors, who help patients with disorders of the immune system, had been inactive since 23 May this year.
Referred
In the meantime, patients were referred to other departments where the required medical specialisms overlap. People with more complex conditions were referred to Radboud UMC in Nijmegen.
Admission freeze
There was an admission stop for new patients during this period. This will remain in place for the time being as the immunologists return to their duties.
Conflict
The hospital would not disclose what exactly the conflict with the hospital was about.
