Girl's MVV Maastricht under 17 football team in final top 5
Maatschappelijke Voetbal Vereniging (MVV) Maastricht girl's under-17 finished 5th in the Final League; a tournament in which the numbers 1 and 2 from the final standings of the 3 national divisions compete. They battled for the national title at Sportcentrum Papendal in Arnhem last weekend.
MVV lost twice 0-1 in the group stage, first to SC 't Gooi from Hilversum and then to the later final winner De Meern. In the battle for 5th and 6th place, they won 1-0 from FC Assen. The other participating teams were UVV Utrecht and RKSV Nuenen.
