Gemeente bans location of flitsbezorgers in city centre
The Gemeente wants to prevent flitsbezorgers (online supermarkets’ delivery services) from establishing themselves in places which for various reasons are seen as undesirable.
Due to the fact that it does not involve an actual shop, a flitzbezorger often has a closed shopfront. In addition, delivery needs to take place which causes more traffic pressure. The Gemeente wants to ban inner city locations as well as neighbourhood shopping centres.
