Dierenambulance will go to emergency situations at own expense
Dierenambulance Limburg Zuid still plans to respond in emergency situations despite not having a Gemeente permit to do so.
Until 1 January this year, Dierenambulance in Maastricht was responsible for assisting animals in need and then the Gemeente granted the permit to Dierenbescherming (animal protection).
According to Dierenambulance (animal ambulance), its successor, which operates from its base in Born, cannot cope. It is claimed that telephone access to Dierenbescherming Limburg is difficult; that conversations are regularly broken off before completion and that the agreed response times from Born are seldom to never achieved.
