Concern among organisers over possible noise standard at events
A number of organisations have registered concern over the Gemeente’s plan to introduce a noise restriction of a maximum of 80 decibels for events.
The level will be measured next to the front of the closest building. It is feared that some organisations will be forced to move to another gemeente because the right experience cannot be created in compliance with the proposed noise restriction. This concern has been registered in a letter to the city council.
