The 32 bicycle parking spaces on De Percée, the central reservation on Stationsstraat, will be relocated. The plans for the new bicycle parking area are to offer expanded capacity for bicycle parking.

A total of 140 new bicycle parking spaces will be installed on Wilhelminasingel and Lage Barakken. These will be installed in January 2024. The Arriva shared bicycles on Wilhelminasingel will be relocated to the opposite side of the street for this purpose.

The removal of the bicycle parking facility will allow De Percée to have more greenery added. The current trees, which are in poor health, will be removed and replaced with new trees. However, this will not happen until autumn 2024. In the period when the bicycle parking spaces have already been removed but the replacement of the trees is still awaited, there will be temporary green infill. A plan for this will be drawn up together with surrounding business owners.
