All remaining Muse lease contracts terminated by landlord
All unexpired studio rental contracts in the under-construction Muse student accommodation building, have been terminated by the landlord Nido Living. The deposits and any up-front rent already paid will be transferred back to the students.
Muse in Randwyck is still uninhabitable due to water damage, according to landlord Nido Living. Tenants were supposed to be able to move in around the turn of the year. Earlier, hundreds of students had their contracts terminated of their own accord.
Nido Living informs that it is still not clear when the building will become inhabitable. As a result, the effective date on the contracts is no longer correct and they are also no longer valid, according to Nido.
The aggrieved students will be given priority for a studio when the building is ready for occupation, they were promised.
