The installation of a glass fibre network in the city centre has been brought forward from 2024 to next year.

Dream comes true for hip-hop dancer Jaira

15-year-old Jaira Luhulima from Heer in south west Maastricht recently won the VandenEnde Foundation's first hip-hop scholarship during an audition weekend with 31 top dancers, and with it, among other things, a cash prize of €5000.

Renovation of former Hudson's Bay building begins next year

Work will start early next year on the redevelopment of the former V&D and Hudson's Bay premises on Grote Staat.
